Georgetown is a historic site that harkens back to English colonial rule.

Circa 206 it’s evolved into a massive creative hub, with yopros, artists and innovators settling down and opening all sorts of new-age business ventures.

Penang is fast-becoming world-famous for its food, but this Malaysian island is taking artistic liberties in its stride in the form of street art.

From graffiti-style images tucked away down side streets, to commissioned iron-wire wall sculptures portraying the island’s history, hunting for street art in Georgetown is the most fun you’ll have whilst there.

Pick up a map, put on your sunglasses and go explore.
